Legendary skater Stevie Williams is returning to his hometown of Philadelphia on a mission to discover and groom some of the city’s skaters, musicians and artists with the mission of taking them “from the streets to the Yacht.”

Williams, who is the founder of DGK Clothing, has a new line called Asphalt Yacht Club. The brand just launched the Advancing Young Creators Project with Mitchell & Ness, to help local rapper Kur take his career to the next level.
“We will help Kur engage an exponentially wider audience with his narrative: where he’s been, where he is and where he’s going,” reps for Stevie Williams said in a statement.
For those that don’t know yet, Kur is one of the more popular rising rappers in Philadelphia.
He’s had capacities shows like the TLA and others in the Tri-State area. Also, a co-sign from Meek Mill, the area’s biggest artist, doesn’t hurt anything.
So, Stevie Williams’ Asphalt Yacht Club and Mitchell & Ness are backing Kur in the next phase of his career. The deal will include studio time for Kur to record a new single, which will be complimented by a custom clothing line.
Kur’s collaboration with AYC and Mitchell & Ness will consist of two jerseys, two snapbacks and two T-shirts, all paying homage to the rapper’s hometown of Philadelphia.
The clothing collaboration between Kur, AYC and Mitchell & Ness will land in stores on March 26, 2016.
