“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again.” – Donald J. Trump
[W]atching the incompetence of the Republican Party’s nominees during the debates early on was entertaining.
|The Donald is going cray cray|
However, the further we get into the election cycle, The more clear it becomes that Donald Trump – the most entertaining and inflammatory of all the candidates, will probably become the Republican nominee for president.
This, in light of disparaging comments about Mexicans, women, immigrants and Muslims.
Just yesterday, Donald Trump upped his aggression against Islam, saying all Muslims should immediately be banned from entering the country – even if they are US citizens.
This, of course, would be seriously damaging to the Hip-Hop industry. Popular rappers like Ice Cube, French Montana, Lupe Fiasco and Freeway are all acknowledged practitioners of the faith.
There’s a bigger list of those who are not followers of Islam but still affiliate with those who practice the religion, since Snoop Dogg, Sean “Diddy” Combs, J. Cole, Nas, Eminem and dozens of others publicly support Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.
The Politicians are proving to be just as entertaining as the entertainers themselves.
Donald Trump has cozied up to Kanye West and danced to Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Killer Mike and Bernie Sanders are chums and Hillary Clinton has done the “Nae Nae” on national TV during this election cycle.
So the television networks are slanging boner pills, cars and just about anything else to monetize the record ratings Donald Trump and the other Republican candidates are bringing in.
“Trump especially, exist because politics has turned into a division of the entertainment industry. The American media machine has spawned a monster out to destroy us. It is becoming a reality that Trump could be the Republican nominee, and if he is, it is entirely our fault because we can’t stop talking about him.” – Molly Quinton contributing writer The Daily for The University of Washington
Even right wing talking heads agree that Donald Trump has lost any charm and has gone too far with his recent call to ban Muslims from entering the United States.

Recently on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough engaged Donald Trump in a heated debate over the comments, which ended with the billionaire being cut for a commercial.
The media may be waking up, but the beast named ignorance has been unleashed. Just yesterday afternoon in Philadelphia, police officers found a severed pig’s head in front of the Al Aqsa Islamic Society.
The act was right on time with Donald Trump’s statements to keep Muslims from entering the United States. Both stories are now getting headlines around the world, including on this site.
So after the terror of 9/11, the panic of the anthrax attacks that followed, devastating suicide bombings around the world, the death of Osama bin Laden, the London subway bombings, the rise of ISIS and the recent attacks in France and in the U.S., hundreds of mass shootings – might we be a little desensitized?
“These are big stories that can’t be ignored. If they happen, we can’t pretend like they didn’t. But it all makes me upset that our world is so violent that that’s the largest aspect of our news coverage,” said Courtney Casey in an opinion piece for Plattsburgh State’s Cardinal Points. “Has the world become more and more violent throughout the years? Will we ever have one day where the news we receive is purely positive? In my lifetime, I’d have to say that I do believe we’ve become desensitized to violence.”
