Sway in the Morning Sends 17 Students to “Art Rules” for FREE!

Sway welcomed Ira Kip and DJ Mary Mac to the legendary morning show.
Ira and her sister Ida originally brought “Art Rules” to the Dutch Caribbean in 2010 after realizing that the Island of Aruba needed a creative outlet for young people.
The students are able to study disciplines such as DJ’ing, Theater, Dance, Musical Performance, Culinary, Fashion Design, Street Art, Creative Media, and Creative Writing.
After eight years the “Art Rules” program has sent over 1,100 kids between 12-23 years-old for two weeks of intensive creative training.
The goal is to create a safe space for the youth of the islands to explore their creative feelings. Sway and his “Sway in the Morning” crew sponsored 17 kids this year for free!
They were all able to attend the sessions totally free of charge and Sway even skyped in to do a Q&A with the kids.
