Business entrepreneur and “Shark Tank” host Daymond John is teaming with the University of Tampa, to help entrepreneurs.
Daymond, who also founded the Hip-Hop clothing company FUBU, will preside over a two-day summit for entrepreneurs called “American Dreams Academy.”
The American Dreams Academy is a new program being backed by HSN, along with the University of Tampa.
The first summit is being held at American University in Washington DC this November, but the program will roll out across the country.
The American Dreams Academy aims to find the top entrepreneurs with great business ideas that are already in development or established.
“The University of Tampa helping us launch the American Dreams Academy will introduce an integral educational component into HSN’s strategy to support and elevate emerging entrepreneurs as they bring their products to market.” – HSN president Bill Brand.
