9th Wonder Building A New Hip-Hop Movement With NCCU

Producer 9th Wonder is working with his alma mater, North Carolina Central University, to build a new repository for Hip-Hop.
The super producer/instructor is working with NCCU to build “Hip-Hop Central.”
“This generation speaks in a certain language that the generations before it did not. Hip-Hop is now a 44-year old art form.” – Producer 9th Wonder
In addition to 9th’s popular “History of Hip-Hop” course, the University is building a new recording studio, creating a library and planning an annual conference centered around the genre.
Professor 9th, as he is affectionately known by students, recently sat down with WRAL to discuss his hip-hop history class, as well as the Hip-Hop Central project.
