Nelly's Face Removed From The School He Helped Create

There was a time when Nelly was one of the most successful advocates for education throughout the Midwest.

Since 2011, Nelly served as the face of Vatterott College’s St. Louis-based music production program, Ex’treme Institute By Nelly.

Vatterott and its campuses are being swallowed up in a big deal with the Alabama-based Education Corporation of America.
But now, it has been revealed that Nelly’s name and likeness have been removed from the school he helped found.

“It is time for the name to change so that students better understand the type of programs the school offers.” – Vatterott President Rene Crosswhite.

The school will continue to offer courses centered around the media business, it would just all happen without Nelly.
University officials insist Nelly’s split with his own school was mutual and has nothing to do with recent rape allegations.
