Wu-Tang’s RZA was one of the featured guests at The 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). RZA debuted a new line of portable speakers with Boombotix, commemorating the group’s 20th year in existence. |
CES featured an array of new products this year thanks to the emergence of The Internet of Things. Now, everything will be connected, from your watch and jewelry, to your refrigerator and car.
On opening day, attendees were treated to an interview with the RZA, the finale in an all-star lineup that included Ford Motor Company CEO Mark Fields and Sony Electronics COO, Mike Fasulo. In addition to debuting his “Star Wars” themed SMS headphone line, 50 Cent was also a featured speaker during the four-day technology exhibition, which has been likened to the modern-day “World’s Fair.”
“This CES vastly exceeded our expectations. The show inspired and likely gave almost every attendee a sense that innovation will provide solutions to a range of global issues from the environment and agriculture to transportation, health and safety,” said Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of the organization that produces CES. “CES is the center of convergence among content, services and products, combining to create amazing new technologies to improve our lives and entertain us. It’s been incredible to see thought leaders from many diverse communities come together for cross industry collaboration.”
