Marion “Suge” Knight recently appeared in court, where his lawyers argued that murder and attempted murder charges against the onetime head of Death Row Records should be dismissed. Suge is in custody after an altercation in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant, where he ran over two people in his pickup truck as he fled the scene.
Suge claims Cle “Boan” Sloan was the aggressor that left another man, Terry Carter, dead after he struck and killed by Knight’s vehicle.
The judge refused to drop the charges against Suge Knight, declaring that there is more than enough proof indicating his responsibility, even though Sloan has refused to testify against Suge.
“There’s no doubt that ‘Suge’ Knight was the person who drove the red truck,” the judge said.
Another hearing is slated because lawyer’s for Suge allege there’s another videotape that will prove his innocence. For now, Suge is being held on $10 million bail.
