This puts him into rap’s elite class of money makers. Wiz owns a record label, is a traveling DJ, has a mobile app and his own marijuana strand and makes millions from concerts.
Wiz is one of few rappers that owns a record label with artists that actually release retail albums. His artists like Memphis legend Juicy J, California crooner Ty Dolla Sign, and Houston’s Sosamann all have released albums under the Taylor Gang imprint.
Wiz has also made a killing from YouTube, as he started his TaylorGangEnt channel in 2008. That channel now has more than 12 million subscribers and six billion video views. Wiz makes top 100 in both those categories.
