Atlanta rapper B.o.B has been in the headlines since last year, when he boldly claimed the earth was flat.
B.o.B is an influential hit artist, with 11 millions of followers across from social media channels.
So it’s no surprise that his claims that the earth was flat made headlines.
Everyone from Neil Degrasse Tyson, to Buzz Aldrin has weighed in and pretty much made fun of B.o.B for bringing up these possibilities.
Snarky replies from NASA astronaut Scott Kelly discouraged the rapper from exploring these theories, while the back-and-forth with Neil Degrasse Tyson devolved into a pseudo-rap battle with both parties dissing each other.
And let’s face it – it’s just ridiculous, it’s long been proven that the earth is round.
But, it’s been perplexing to watch these folks kinda ridicule B.o.B with their little jabs, while never mentioning the fact that the entire universe is actually flat.
Albert Einstein proved long ago that space is not just empty and actually is something in and of itself.
The distinct physical properties of space allow it to bend, ripple and even expand.
“If we are not able to ask skeptical questions to interrogate those who tell us that something is true, to be skeptical of those in authority, then were up for grabs for the next charlatan, political or religious who comes hambling along.” Dr. Carl Sagan
Instead of clowning B.o.B for asking these questions, lets thank him for sparking a new thirst amongst some young people to figure these things out.
While Dr. Carl Sagan would not agree with B.o.B about the flatness of the earth, he would certainly be proud of the rapper’s intention to explore “The Cosmos.”
And here is Neil Degrasse Tyson himself, explaining that the entire universe is flat.
