Fans Attending The Vans Warped Tour Pitch In To Clean Up Festival Grounds

The Vans Warped Tour is well known as America’s longest running touring music festival of the summer.
Since 1995, the tour has been a showcase for both established and up and coming talent, across a wide range of eclectic sub-genres.
Rappers like Machine Gun Kelly, Eminem and Waka Flocka have performed on the tour and made a name for themselves nationwide.
But did you know that every year, Vans Warped Tour also hosts a service day?
Fans roll up their sleeves to give back to the communities and cities that the tour stops in?

This year, Vans Warped Tour has announced they will partner with the City of Ventura and the Ventura Land Trust for this year’s service day.
On June 25th, volunteers will help clean up the River Estuary at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, where this year’s Vans Warped Tour will take place.
The Ventura County Fairgrounds was damaged by invasive species, litter, and debris following the devastating fires and landslides earlier this year.
Volunteers will stay at the venue the night of June 24th, where a benefit and barbecue will take place to benefit the Thomas Firefighters.
The following day, volunteers will work between 8 AM and 1 PM on litter cleanup, invasive plant removal, and habitat restoration.
Breakfast and lunch will both be catered. Showers and restrooms will also be available onsite.
Previous service days have included working with Journey Through Hallowed Ground to plant trees in Gettsyburg, cleaning up areas affected by flooding in Nashville, and improving parks in Western Maryland.
