Foodies Unite: Broccoli City Announces Food & Grooves Experience

Food lovers and music enthusiasts have a new date to add to their calendar.
Broccoli City, Live Nation Urban and The James Beard Foundation have announced the debut of Food & Grooves.
The boutique food, music and culture experience created by the minds behind Broccoli City, will feature local restaurant showcases, interactive cooking demonstrations, wine, beer & spirits tastings, intimate panel discussions, book signings.

There will also be a live recording of the Questlove Supreme podcast featuring a discussion between QuestLove and James Beard Award Winning Author Chef Kwame Onuwachi (Kith & Kin).
Rounding out the program will be sounds by Teedra Moses, Tank and the Bangas, Black Alley Band, DJ Domo, DJ Jhasonic and a special presentation of R&B Only by Jabari and Dauche.

With Food & Grooves in particular, our goal is to highlight the talents of diverse, underrepresented chefs, mixologists and purveyors of the culinary industry who are not only fueling future generations through food but those who are also utilizing their craft to move the culture forward.”
Acclaimed national chefs and panelists participating in “Food Talks” curated by The James Beard Foundation include: JJ Johnson, Therese Nelson, David Thomas, Darryl Perkins and many others.
